What you may or may not know is that Valdespin has a terrible clubhouse reputation and has been disliked by his teammates long before this incident. The guy has terrible makeup, so this incident is really just the manifestation of a much larger issue. It's pretty likely that the commentators know all about his reputation and had a boiling over moment. -
So I shouldn't bother putting a #20 claim on him? I hate the chubby f***er but I'd still take him on my team.

Even when that regresses to .310-.320, still superstar numbers. Not striking out, hitting for power, lacing liners all over the field, sublime defense, and chipping in some speed.

Drew is a s*** hack writer and a terrible speaker on podcasts. Stoeten is the smartest one and the best writer. Parkes comes off like an arrogant dick but is actually pretty soft spoken and humble in person (also, he's like 6'3).

You probably shouldn't point out to everybody how you've painted yourself into a corner and need to make a move. That hurts your leverage considerably.

Actually, the deal was principally Pestano for picks. Doubront was functionally a cut, for both of us as it turns out. Sadly, he just doesn't offer as much as Kazmir or Lackey right now, and I actually like Tepesch slightly more ROS. I don't think that's a particularly strong 5/6/7, so I'd probably disagree that 19/20 teams could upgrade an SP spot with Doubront, especially since I cut him, No49 cut him, and even rebuilding Boxy wouldn't touch him.
