I thought your bats were better than your pitching already. McCutchen-Choo-Beltre-Mauer-Kemp seems like a pretty viable core, while Darvish was far and away your best pitcher. On the flip side, you may have picked up two 30 HR bats for 2014. Or a fat guy in early decline and a mid-tier 1B who never hits for average. It could go either way. LaRoche and Carter netted about 50 HR, so I'm not sure Prince and Rizzo will be a huge improvement on that next year. I'd probably take the ace in his prime who punched out 277 batters this year over that delta, but that's just how I see it.
