Haha, Shields has been what I paid for so I can't complain. Besides, I still own Yordano in a 20 team dynasty, so we can both enjoy him.

I'd almost rather have Ventura than Carlos at this point. They both have phenomenal stuff, but the Cards rotation is so deep that I'm concerned they'll Rosenthal Martinez.

Yordano Ventura hit 102 in his debut against the Indians tonight. He didn't throw a FB under 97 and everything had wicked life. This guy is electric.

Unless Marco Scutaro decides to hit 2 HRs, it pretty much seems over. In the end, I just couldn't scrape by without Craig. And as it turns out, Ryan Zimmerman and Jon Lester would have won me the week in Jose Fernandez's place, but that's the way it goes.

I have the tiebreaker, I believe. It goes reg season record against opponent (which was a tie lol), then playoff seed. We've been back and forth all week, it's coming right down to the finish. Unlike PL where FTD is feeding me a pounding.

I like this new layout for football, although it takes some getting used to. The new player pages for baseball are completely asinine, however. You pull up a player and the only immediately visible stats are AVG, HR, RBI and R. FFS, that doesn't even accommodate the most basic 5x5 league.

Lol Manny Banuelos has no value whatsoever. Gordon netted Corbin and Cingrani in our league (overpay by NJH IMO). In FC, Gordon got traded straight up for Almora and then Grandal.

I think back to the last two Waiver Drafts in FC, there were some real gems: Darvish and Cespedes in 2012, and Ryu and Puig this year. There were also some great prospects in 2012, Billy Hamilton, Kolten Wong, and Middlebrooks if I'm not mistaken. We are in a golden age of Cuban and Asian imports.
