  1. I already did, he's Niqqi's problem now.
  2. Uh oh, looks like Beachy is headed for his 2nd TJS in less than 2 years (per Rotoworld).
  3. I'll be all over them if Spanky sells, which he wont, because he'll be in it!
  4. FTD, how many Power Rankings have you received?
  5. No, but we can totally tag team Ervin while FTD is out of town.
  6. Stanton is younger, yet he is the one with a chronic injury already. Goldy has a higher career wRC+ (although barely) and an MVP calibre season on his resume, so to say Stanton has accomplished more is pretty debatable.
  7. I'm putting Medlen on the block. If you want to take a shot on his post-TJS upside (assuming he has TJS), and you have a piece that can help my team this year, shoot me a PM or offer.
  8. As a fantasy player, I don't think Stanton will ever be as good as Goldy was last year. He won't hit for that average, he won't steal the bases, and he's in an absolutely terrible lineup for R & RBI. He could hit 50 HR some year, and it could be this year, but there's a lot of risk with his injury history and K rate. Goldy is a much safer and more proven commodity at this point.
  9. Blue Jays skipper John Gibbons "seemed more subdued than usual" during his media session Wednesday and "hinted" that the Blue Jays "had made plans based on signing Ervin [santana]," reports Toronto radio broadcaster Mike Wilner. With the Nos. 4-5 spots in the rotation projected to be occupied by question marks -- J.A. Happ and Drew Hutchison -- and the No. 3 spot manned by a pitcher coming off a poor and injury-plagued season (Brandon Morrow), most analysts predicted Toronto would step up and land Santana. Apparently the Blue Jays' miffed manager did too. Santana signed a one-year, $14.1 million contract with Atlanta on Wednesday. It's possible that Toronto GM Alex Anthopoulos got too cute here.
  10. Santana fantasy owners rejoice!
  11. Johnson had a 3.58 xFIP last year and struck out a batter per inning. He had a fluky HR rate and BABIP but was otherwise the pitcher we expected (injuries and all). His velo and SwStr % were virtually identical to 2012. Going to a home run supressing park, there's every reason to suspect he'll be successful again this year, he's been a damn good pitcher his entire career and everything looks fine under the hood. I said it then and I'll say it now, we should have tendered a QO to JJ.
  12. That's not a thing.
  13. Lawl, pull power is for pussies. http://m.mlb.com/video/v31496853/must-c-combo-miggy-launches-a-pair-against-cardinals
  14. I've got a share of Big Erv, kinda pulling for him to land in ATL.
  15. Everyone outside the top 6 was really hard to rank. I think all of these teams have a solid shot of making the playoffs this year: SpeedyGose ISO Horny Triple Hawpe Brewed London Slayers B.Inge Drinking Taijuan On! (insert clever name) The Lyon Tamer
  16. Since we're doing league PRs, here are my rankings that I submitted to FTD: 1 Twist and Trout 2 True Cardinals 3 BALCO Pharm Team 4 2nd Leg to Stanton 5 Butt Stallions 6 WAR Puigs 7 SpeedyGose 8 Taijuan On! 9 (insert clever name) 10 ISO Horny 11 Triple Hawpe Brewed 12 London Slayers 13 The Lyon Tamer 14 Oppo Taco 15 Gryffindor 16 B.Inge Drinking 17 Georgia Peach 18 Jurassic Kats 19 Bye Week I graded each team on offense, pitching, and farm (some promotions were assumed) on the 2-8 scale and added up the totals (farms weighted 0.5). I won't disclose individual grades for courtesy, but I will say I graded one 8 and seven 7s (4 were farms).
  17. Spanky I can download the tickets now, I'll send them to you tomorrow probably.
  18. Sure, just go ahead and post your mailing address.
  19. I don't think it's normal for any sane, non-drug dealer to carry that much cash. I just don't see the point. Anyway, I kept the cash but I turned in the wallet at Union Station.
  20. If I saw the person drop the wallet, I would have returned it intact. Hopefully Wang Xiaoju gets her wallet back. There was a McDonald's coffee card in there, only one more and she gets a free cup!
  21. That's like a billion dollars to an 11 year old. I never found more than $20 before today.
