  1. That was my thought process. Miggy loses 3B eligibility and Carp loses 2B, so I slide them over and deal from 1B, where I had 4 viable options.
  2. After a long night of soul-searching, I clicked accept. To Butt Stallions: Chris Davis To LOB: Robinson Cano Farewell Crush, we'll always have 2013.
  3. @DDL_insider reports two contenders could be on the verge of a major swap.
  4. Ouch. Back injuries suck. Hopefully old Cliff doesn't decline too much, you need those two to be studs.
  5. I don't have a massive hard-on for Springer. The K rate is very disturbing and the hit tool is average at best. I see him having a career more similar to Chris Young than, say, Alfonso Soriano, which is the upside. I've been wrong before, I just don't love him.
  6. It's more fun to cut out N49, whenever possible.
  7. Adrian Gonzalez. North is going to try to broker him to a 3rd party so he can net a pitcher; he can worry about trading for Gonzalez after.
  8. I knew MAG was on waivers and wanted nothing to do with him, even though I only have #14 and several open roster spots due to DLs.
  9. Trevor May & Richie Shaffer coming right up!
  10. Whatever he's offering for Doolittle/Santos, I'll double it.
  11. I agree, although I'm not sure what that has to do with the org guy in question.
  12. Also, if anybody is looking for pitching, give me a shout.
  13. I f***ing hate waiting for guys to be assigned to the DL.
  14. He's a poor Cuban with $20M in hand. He probably figures (and rightly so) that he's already set for life.
  15. Their management did change though. They replaced Dusty Baker with their pitching coach, who had been vocally in favour of moving Chapman to the rotation. It was Chapman who said he prefers to stay as a closer, otherwise they would have stretched him out this year. It would have to be Chapman who changes his mind. I agree with what you said, if it was ever going to happen, it would have been this year.
  16. I imagined it last year, that's why I drafted him in the 3rd round. :/ JFaS, where did Chapman go in BBDL?
  17. Yep, he was on the block for awhile. And he has hammy issues; if he doesn't run, his value plummets. I can see your POV on him.
  18. Including Matt Carpenter and Allen Craig twice, and those guys don't K very much.
  19. I think that ship has sailed, but the Reds new manager was talking about pushing Chapman towards 100 IP this year to maximize his awesomeness. Yikes, imagine a 150 K RP.
  20. Is Ellsbury really that great? He turns 31 this year and has a checkered injury history with a career 109 wRC+. Chapman is a very attractive dynasty asset and is much younger. Obviously I like my side of the deal, but I think some people are getting a bit carried away.
