    More than anything, I'm annoyed that we're going to waste a roster spot on Ezequiel Carrera for a couple weeks, when we could get more help from Pompey.

    Markakis only had one really monster year, other than that he was never a guy that was going to carry you to a championship in a 20 team league. The problem for Winker is that his defense is so poor that he'll have to hit right out of the gate and keep doing it, or he won't play.

    I hope Boxy is right and Winker is a stud, I just don't see it happening myself. Even with that HR binge, his ISO is only .158. He's a 15-20 HR LF with a solid OBP and his hit tool probably plays down a tick in the majors. The ceiling is no different than what I said a year ago, something like Markakis without the plus defence.

    I would rather face Silvio. Nick's team is more balanced, with lethal pitching and Chris Davis is going berserk lately. Meanwhile, Freddie Freeman has been banged up and Tulo and Arenado are slumping. THB seems more beatable at this moment in time.

    I would disagree with this, almost every category was very close until Sale and Bumgarner went nuts yesterday. Could definitely have been a split and a bunch of categories could have flipped yesterday.
