Talk about an arbitrary timeframe... he's got a 3.86 xFIP, 9.6 K/9, 45% GB, 10.4 SwStr % as a rookie. The BBs have been ticking down and his BABIP is normalizing, the kid is a stud.
I HATE listening to Barker. At least Zaun was a good player and a WS champion, Barker was a journeyman nobody... I don't want to hear his opinion on anything.
H/R splits are completely meaningless over a sample this small. RC is an extreme hitter's park, and there's absolutely no reason to think he'll continue to be so good there; nor is there any reason to believe he'll continue to be so bad on the road. This is statistical noise, nothing more and nothing less.
Ok this contest is simple, predict Gregg Zaun's upcoming Sunday Roast re: Hutchison's demotion. The contestant who scores closest to Zauner's actual stroke-out will receive my Brandon Morrow Bobblehead (shipping not incl).
One point each will be awarded to verbatim phrases which are uttered by the neckless wonder.
I'll wager we get several of the following:
- "Highest win percentage on the team"
- "Embarassment to the organization"
- "Sends a bad message to the clubhouse"
- "Proven winner"
- "Great at home"
Demoted for being the best starter on the team = lol
Your words, not mine. You set the parameters for this analysis. Nowhere did you say "our most valuable starter thus far" or anything of that nature.
