  1. I have a hard time believing Molina is suddenly going to become fantasy relevant again. I would take the Swihart side for the upside, although they are probably both cut bait.
  2. What he said ^ yahoo never removes eligbility earned the prior season
  3. You don't need 10 games to keep eligibility, you need 10 games or 5 starts.
  4. And what profit would that be? There's no membership fee.
  5. Juicmin, do you profit from having more users? I would like that. I just don't see what's in this for you, like in general.
  6. He's like a totally different Gibby this time around. In his first stint as manager he literally fist fought Ted Lilly and Shea Hillenbrand for showing him up. Back then I always thought of him as dour and unlikable, but now he's this totally laid back country bumpkin.
  7. Ok, so clearly we're not ever going to do the logical thing and bat Bautista leadoff. So with that option completely off the table, who are we going to put there? Tulo is a plausible option, but he's been slumping as much as Pillar. I hate Pillar leading off, but the team is married to JD/JB/EE at 2/3/4. So... Saunders?
  8. njh doesn't know dick about baseball
  9. Evan Drellich of the Boston Herald reports that the Red Sox could consider a position change for Blake Swihart. The club hasn't been thrilled with Swihart's defense and will activate Christian Vazquez (elbow) from the disabled list prior to Friday's game. They'll likely keep Ryan Hanigan around as Vazquez's backup and send Swihart to Triple-A Pawtucket, and it's possible they'll work Swihart in at other positions, too. The 24-year-old has never played anything but catcher as a pro, but he's a good athlete and likely would be able to handle a switch. However, his bat obviously wouldn't be nearly as interesting at another position. --- RIP Swihart's fantasy career
  10. His elbow broke? That's shocking, he was only throwing his slide like 72% of the time, which is totally normal.
  11. Sounds about right. I don't remember particulars.
  12. More than anything I just really didn't want NJH to have Mookie Betts, so mission accomplished.
  13. Remember when I said Kelvin Herrera was a potential monster, and you all were like STFU? Especially NJH. And then NJH traded for Herrera cause I had a roster crunch, and now Herrera is pitching like Betances? Love it when that happens.
  14. I was probably f***ing with you, I like to do that. I lie all the time, it's fun.
  15. False. It's not even conceivable that a youth/rebuilding team would consider that offer. I did however beg KK on several occasions NOT to trade Betts.
  16. Yeah that's the other thing, he has a down year where people are s***ing all over him and abandoning ship, and he's still an above average hitter. I think he has some MVP caliber seasons in him.
  17. Sometimes things actually work out in the end, like Walking on Sunshine chick.
  18. You'll never see a guy with a career .375 wOBA get disrespected as much as Puig, it's a sin.
  19. I probably dodged a bullet because I actually wanted Joc Pederson.
  20. Eh-you-hennio! One yahoo expert said they'd take him hands down over Tulo going forward.
  21. The Yelich breakout is real, kids. Hitting everything, shower power, walking at a ridiculous 22%. Step aside, Pollock lovers.
