    Nope. "Next day" in Yahoo terms is about 3 or 4 am. We should not change our entire transaction process based on one tiny goof up. Same day has many more pratfalls than our current mode. I superveto filibuster this discussion.

    No to same day transactions. The problem is once a game has started, that player becomes locked and you can't drop them til the next day then. It makes late night adds from emerging situations almost impossible. I am staunchly against same day transactions.

    It wasn't really a strategy I intended, I just opportunistically bought on Sale and Ohtani. I'm open to trading one for an elite bat, most likely Sale.

    Offers expire after like a week. So there's that. It's a bit rude to just let them dangle, IMO, but that's life. I usually decline immediately if I'm not interested, with or without a rationale.

    Donaldson has been pretty well locked in at #2 for awhile, so I'd expect him to stay there. Probably Granderson leading off and Smoak either 3rd or 4th, sandwiched by Morales and Grichuk in some order.

    I absolutely agree with your prognostication, connorp, it's not a good trajectory. However, don't forget that the level of activity on this message board is tightly correlated with the on-field success of the Blue Jays, so if there is a resurgence with the Vlad/Bo wave, we could have a fantasy renaissance on this board. PL is far from the heyday of it's fabled 3-league relegation system, but that's also a symptom of the fantasy owners on this board drifting more towards deep dynasty formats. Redraft is for casuals, and the people who remain here are more obsessed baseball fans.

    They don't want to disrespect the Opening Day roster by starting prospects who aren't even on the 40 in these exhibition games. Vlad and Bo will play tonight, but the starters from yesterday and today are the opening day roster guys.
