    I have to say I really love watching Boras become desperate to save face. --- Moose may wait to sign until after June draft Mike Moustakas' agent Scott Boras suggested to Sam Mellinger of the Kansas City Star that his client might not sign until after the 2018 MLB June Amateur Draft. That would no longer tie Moustakas to draft pick compensation and could finally spring open a fruitful market for the 29-year-old third baseman, especially if he is willing to accept offers that would only carry through to the end of the 2018 season. He can not have that draft pick compensation tied to him next winter, per the CBA rules. "Watch what happens," Boras said. "This player has no picks attached to him. It goes away, because they can only put it on him once. So now it's a totally different world for Moose." Boras and Moustakas were believed to be seeking upwards of five years and $75 million when this offseason began.

    I strongly considered taking him but I'm not a fan of these guys who fail as a starter (in this case mostly due to injury/durability), become a good reliever, then get stretched back out again. I don't think he'll carry his success from last year forward as a starter. He either won't hold up under the innings or his numbers will regress and he'll be mediocre. I enjoyed him very much last year as an SP-eligible holds guy, though.

    I know, still dumb. One play shouldn't count as a Game Played, you should have to fulfill multiple innings at the position. Lame.

    They really do the bare minimum, but I'll still never leave them.

    Or maybe Yahoo should actually exercise some discretion when assigning positions rather than using last year's eligibility so we can avoid seeing Anthony Rizzo at 2B because of some f***ing shifts. They exercise discretion with the eligibility of MiLB players, but it seems that players who played in MLB last year are strictly based on the 5 starts/10 games rule.

    Yahoo is weird. Because Francisco Mejia didn't start 5 games at either 3B or C last year, he's only UTIL eligible to start the season.

    Dahl will probably be up to stay and Robles will be up in a month or so. I do appreciate you giving me a free 30 HR CF, though.

    He's demonstrated good walk rates and raw power, with a couple tweaks he could be another Khris Davis. I feel like I comp every hacking OF with raw power to Khris Davis. Apparently he lost 20 lbs this offseason, and he's hit some bombs already this spring. Kinda surprised he was cut TBH, he's not far removed from being a Top 10 prospect.

    I would at least keep the first two rounds. You never know, you might just find a Willson Contreras.

    Expediency is nice, but truth be told, we have a lot of time to kill before the season starts anyway.

    I'd say I hit pretty big on Kennys Vargas and Pablo Sandoval.

    Bregman seems unreasonably high. Under no circumstances would I take him ahead of Stanton, Bellinger, Judge.

    Yeah, at this point he is our 6th/7th OF. I would rather just roll with Teoscar or Alford if we really need to dip that far into the depth chart.

    In DDL we all have the same number of keepers. Possibly this is an issue in BORED.
