Yeah that's a glib oversimplification. The reasons for Bichette being in the minors have nothing to do with that particular tool, of all things.

I think Bo would easily hit .260-.270 if brought up right now. He hit a laser beam oppo shot off Felipe Rivero and that dude is nasty.

Hey guys just FYI, prospect maven Kiley McDaniel thinks Bo Bichette is a future 50 hitter (~.255 avg). Byron 12:46 How does Bo Bichette have a present hit tool grade of 30? That must be an error, right? Kiley McDaniel 12:48 Nope, it's a future 50 and if it was a current 50, he'd be in the big leagues. He's played one season in A-Ball (with unsustainable BABIPs, so don't scout the stat line) so 30 is about as high as you can go. If he goes bonkers this year, it might be a 45 or 50 at the end of the year, but I'd expect it to be more like 40, then around 50 in late 2019 or 2020
