  1. Yep. He's 25, hit at almost league average, has some controllable years. He's not sexy but I think a lot of people here had unrealistic expectations for a Happ rental. McKinney is also a possible MLB reg, so not a bad depth package. Strong chance IMHO that Happ is a Jay again next year anyway.
  2. All in all this is a very good return for a fungible reliever who is likely to disintegrate and turn into a zero value asset at any moment.
  3. Forrest Wall is a solid get for Oh, IMO. He can hit for a bit of average, walk a bit, has speed, can play CF and maybe 2B in a pinch. He could be a utility/platoon leadoff guy. Just gotta assume he won't have much MLB power and that lefties will eat him alive, but I think he's a good bet to be a major leaguer.
  4. Matt Carpenter eat your heart out... Khris Davis now has 6 HR in his last 4 games.
  5. Is Michael Saunders available?
  6. Better dynasty asset at this point: Bumgarner or AJ Pollock?
  7. I never understood that expression, "if you miss you'll land among the stars"?? No, you'll just cruise past the moon until you run out of oxygen and fuel and then you'll die.
  8. It's not selling low on Osuna if you maintain your pre-suspension valuation as the seller. If you can get a similar return to what the Padres got for Hand or what the Yankees got for Miller -- Top 30 prospects for relief pitchers with comparable trade value -- then there's no reason why the Jays shouldn't consider trading him. It's not like Atkins is going to move him at any cost, the trigger will only be pulled if the net is a prospect on par with Mejia or Frazier at the time of those trades.
  9. Yeah I don't get that context. BTS is like my BMJB bestie, I don't live to troll him.
  10. The fact that the Indians traded him for a non-elite reliever definitely doesn't signal much confidence in his ability to catch.
  11. I mean if they can do it without trading Tatis, Gore, Urias, or Mejia, then sure, but I can’t imagine that is possible.
  12. But Syndergaard vaults them into championship contender status, surely.
  13. LMAO, I hadn't checked in on Hosmer in a few months... dear god that contract is charging headlong towards worst case scenario. -0.8 WAR, 89 wRC+... yikes.
  14. Welcome Abom; thanks for the mammaries KK.
  15. Acuna is f'real behind Vlad and Soto tho, long-term dynasty outlook.
  16. I was being sarcastic in the first place you friggin' dumb-dumb; I own Acuna in TAKL.
  17. BTS took exception to me saying that Acuna was going to be just-okay this year, and once I know I'm pushing someone's buttons it's very hard for me to quit.
  18. Pretty sure he'll get traded to the Mets for DeGrom inexplicably and then become a replacement level 3B.
  19. .362 BABIP + 29.5 K% + .275 AVG + 12.2% SwStr = .245/.305/.450 line after regression BTS please stop wasting your time on this scrub and start throwing Juan Soto in my face like you really ought to.
  20. I make a passing troll attempt and BTS launches into a full-blow existential crisis. Wasn't really my intention but I will roll with it.
  21. You're so rattled and I barely had to lift a finger
  22. Congrats on your Carlos Gomez with more Ks and less SB.
