    You know, I'm really starting to think that, if there really is a god, the correct religion absolutely has to be Judaism. I mean, they run everything in the world despite not even having their own nation state until after WW2, and even then it's tiny and surrounded by billions of people who hate them. Still they've made that place possibly the best to live in among all the others in that area. If I ever get that urge for a last minute conversion on my deathbed, I know which direction I'm going.

    I honestly think the Dodgers take this in 4 or 5. They are just unstoppable. Also quite sad the Yanks lost.

    I find the Stros far more unlikable than the Yankees tbh. They are really kinda like the ALW version of the Red Sox. Got a bunch of neat home grown players and then pissed away the farm on s***** trades.

    Because Washington has a terrible front office who lucked out with Stras, Bryce and Rendon and then just threw money at the rest of their problems. They are more Yankees than the actual Yankees.

    Which is why Gibby bothers me a lot less than he used to. It could be so much worse. At least he's hilarious, there was no clubhouse revolt after this s***** season, players still like him, and he does a lot of things right. Pretty sure Gardenhire is still a fan of pitching to contact, and let's not forget "legendary" manager and curmudgeonly old man Jim Leyland, who thinks that Eric Hosmer is better than Paul Goldschmidt.

    The ironic part is he criticizes Shatkins as "losers" after one bad season...obviously forgetting that they were integral to the success Cleveland now enjoys. Previous to that, whined that Gord f***ing Ash wouldn't have been given a chance to flourish. Did this team even have a winning record under Ash? I know they sure as hell never made the playoffs.

    Why does Smoltz keep gushing over Sonny Gray? He had a near 1:1 ball to strike ratio. Getting lucky that more balls didn't find holes doesn't mean there was nothing more he could have done. Normally I like Smoltz but Sonny Gray is terrible. Just accept it.
