The Twins have always been boring. Even when they were a decent team 8-9 years ago, they were still super boring. Their landmark hometown franchise player was a slap hitting catcher with average-below average speed.

Couldn't agree with you more. I actually like that Crosby didn't turn it into a thing, but of course the outrage brigade is always out in full force. I don't want to hear athletes talk, I don't want to see them being political and I certainly don't want to see a bunch of insanely privileged morons making a point disrespecting the country that allows them to live their extravagant lifestyles. I don't care about American patriotism or anything, I just hate seeing mass ignorance. You think you're oppressed? I saw on Twitter that the tolerant people are berating Sydney Crosby simply for agreeing to visit the White House because racism or something. Jesus Christ, when will the madness end? I'm also seeing that a ton of players across all sports have decided to kneel during the US anthem for some reason. It's pretty amusing how first world conditioned these people are to think that they are actually being oppressed. If they went literally anywhere else on Earth they would be more oppressed than they are in the States. They can protest if they want to, I suppose, but it's pretty f***ing retarded imo.
