    Ok. Why didn't Francona master tactish his team into the playoffs in 2011? His team, the one he managed completely collapsed in September. What did Francona do to cause that? Likewise, John Farrell won a world series two years later. What did he do to cause that? So Miller is going to come out in the 5th. We got it. He may be better, the resume certainly is. But the chances that a manager is going to make any kind of significant difference in this series is very minimal.

    A couple of things. I don't buy the analogy. There is no pro-team named after a slur. There are leftest groups whose agenda is to push victim ideology that try and make them slurs, but they really are not. And yes, the "over it" is, well wrong. They are not. They are still going after 95 year olds if they can get them. But I think what he might be noticing is that Jews have, despite being persecuted where ever they are, have done remarkably well. The same can't be said for most Native communities. There are many factors in that. Team names, I don't believe to be one of them. Embracing victim ideology, I believe is.

    I will grant you that. I will even grant you that what ever number it was, it was too much. But the fact is this. There is no ill will meant by the city of Cleveland or Atlanta by naming their teams what they do.... Yes the fans can get silly and show disrespect. I personally think they names should be changed. It's not worth the headache. I think the 10 or so universities and pro sports teams should just get together, with no pressure and simply change the names. But mostly I want to do this to take the issue away from the left. The left wants this... the left needs this. In the new game of identity and victim politics, this was a great issue. I'd love to see it gone.

    Which one ones? Jews? They endured a bit. Russians? Scottish? Irish? You go back far enough everyone one of them has endured.

    I can't speak for the rest of Canada, but that was NS. Most people might be pushing it. But even with a sober driver, there would be a lot of other drinking in the car. Drinking used to be very much part of the culture down here.

    It's not that crazy. Martin has a cut hand. They are about the same offensive threat.. Martins D is better but DN is not terrible and has had success with Marco.
