Has there been any talk about Jake Sanford kid from Nova Scotia? He's ranked 107 in the mlb list. Seems intriguing as he must have some real raw talent coming from Nova Scotia.

I have a question about Vlad Jr's value. Is there even 5 players in all of baseball more valuable then him right now? I mean in the off-season what player wouldn't be accepted in a trade offer for Vlad Jr straight up?

No. The team would still suck.

They are still in no position to win a championship. Next two years are ~50 wins, then bounced first round.

Bill Simmon's was making a point and I think it's relevant, the Sixer's might be better off staying away from James. They can compete with the studs they have and it might hurt their development to be playing second fiddle to Lebron James.

Did anyone else feel like that was going to happen, or should? I was just calculating what the odds of that dude (who I have never heard of) getting a hit at 1-2 off that reliever and the odds seemed minuscule. I feel like Pillars steal attempt there had maybe a 10% (made up stat) chance of working, but surely more then the other guy getting a hit or even getting on.

I'm glad to see my only meaningful contribution to the board is getting one more bump. It was a good thread. This will probably be my most commented on thread I ever made. And probably the most commented Ryan Goins thread of all time, anywhere. Maybe I'll print it off and get him to sign it.

My little sister got to do that a couple of years ago. Bowl with the bluejays. It was a Honda sponsored event I think. That's how she got tickets. I was pretty jealous.

Ol' Tim Tebow doin ok. It has to be better then most baseball insiders predicted. I still think he is just starting to late to make it much higher. But he's doing ok. Maybe he'll get some sort of Adam Loewen type look at some point.
