  1. No. It's stupid that it was isolated in the first place, it's actually lessened my interest in following them.
  2. Really sad news, I always made sure I read his comments.. RIP
  3. And many of you were naive enough to think that Alex was sitting on his hands. This team had zero flexibility and it was clear from the get go. I'm not defending Alex, but it is quite sad that he wasn't able to add even a couple of players.
  4. Brandon Morrow throwing 150 innings a year through 2010-2012 >>> Brandon Morrow throwing 60 innings a year through 2007-2009. Considering a healthy Morrow is about as good as we've had in the last 4-5 years, why the hell would we throw it away in favor of Redmond? I know this has been beaten to death, but think it through a bit. Completely irrational.

Definitely. He's unmatched in pro sports.
  6. Poor guy must be going through so much...
  7. Nice little player, however it's way too f***ing early to know anything about anyone.
  8. I never thought I'd have to see that face again, why must you force that face on all of us. It hurts.
  9. How about we just reference the "Seitzer approach" every time we see an opposite field hit or somebody raising their OBP. It's more fun that way.
  10. My advice: Avoid discussing ERA and wins with Nox, BTS, etc. It'll go a long way for you.
  11. Based on what? There is no model and we have no idea of knowing what the owner's impact really is.
  12. He did seem to be kind of redundant. Radio, TV, Journalism... He also had no interest in staying out of the spotlight either, always looking for controversy. Wouldn't be surprised.
  13. Time to re-evaluate why you're a fan in the first place. You don't have to isolate yourself from the rest of us. We all hate AA, we all understand that he has an unjust level of job security because Beeston is equally incompetent. It's the cycle of being a sports fan, certain regimes are flat out exhausting.
  14. I'll probably be at the school till around 7 tomorrow and have tickets to the leafs game for Tuesday (genuinely don't want to go). Unfortunate.
  15. Thought he went out of his way a lot in order to hold the minority opinion. I enjoyed his book, but I won't miss the guy at all.
  16. No of course not. I'm being sarcastic.
  17. I'm a little bit concerned with how the bullpen relationship will develop. Darren Oliver had a lot of wise words I'm sure. A leader needs to step up.
  18. I must admit, I thought he had an enormous whole in his swing. When his numbers fell, I didn't think it was possible they'd ever go back up. Woops. However I'm not going to let 1 year completely change my opinion. 6 years is a long time.
  19. Yes, it was an honest mistake.
  20. Yeah well he's about to be humbled because that doesn't work with a front office that doesn't have its head up its ass.
  21. I wonder how energized he'll be when he's hitting .210 in June.
