    What's worse: The lack of honesty when it comes to reporting the injuries, or the inability of this team to shut guys down at proper times (i,e, Vernon going through the season with a bum shoulder when we're like 20 games out of it). So many people need to be fired.

    My god our f***ing first rounders over the past few years have been awful. Deck McGuire? Chad Jenkins? The f***ing Chinless wonder? How terrible can one team's scouting system be?

    Jenkins did a fine job the other day but I can't see that lasting much longer. Velocity + stuff combo is turrible. Just turrible.

    Dickey vs Zito will be tough. Zito has been on this year and we all know how the Jays have faired against soft tossing garbage LHP in the past. Vogelsong vs Morrow is a pretty favorable matchup. A split would be nice but we have to be aiming for 2/2.

    Lots of hard hit balls today. I'd get excited but we've seen this dog-and-pony show before. Just gotta hope that Dickey can actually show up to the park on Tuesday and keep this thing going.

    Pointless to discuss Grilli. Different team, different circumstances. KNowing our luck he probably would've been a huge gas can early on due to being over worked.

    It's gotta be pretty tempting to throw Cecil into the rotation with the way he's been going lately.... but I hope they keep him where he's at. He's thriving in his current role.

    We have so many fringe starter types that could easily step in and do what Rogers has done. Just makes no sense at all. Aviles is nothing special but he's a very solid backup.

    Meanwhile, Mike Aviles doing exactly what a servicable backup MIF should do. On pace for around 2.5-3 WAR Great trade!
