    Not a huge fan of the "Gose-doesn't-need-to-hit-to-be-valuable" narrative. You gotta freaking hit man. If he can continue drawing a decent amount of walks.. then that's a different story... but that bat doesn't appear to be MLB ready.

    He goes on these power streaks where he hits like 6-7HR in a two week stretch... and it becomes so easy to get excited about him. Some of the easiest power I've ever seen. Last night.... taking a power LHP to deep right-center.... Made it look effortless.

    Continuing the discussion from the old forum... Gump now sitting with a .780 OPS/112 wRC+... On pace for just over 5 WAR Again, I pose the question, how can one player look so terrible but still be pretty awesome? The contact rate continues to normalize... rising to almost 60% (still worst in baseball by 5% behind Pedro Alvarez though...).. Walk rate is OK around 8%... Super high BABIP. TL;DR: almost never makes contact, when makes contact: destroys ball and almost everything falls in for a hit. Ready to commit medium/long-term yet? Gose has been showing a good eye in the minors but the numbers are pretty underwhelming. And go

    Adam Greenwood is basically the Casey Janssen of the forum. Not flashy, doesn't stand out too much, but each post gets the job done in a respectable, workmanlike manner.

    Yes they did.Once again Adam Greenwood is dropping truth bombs. Some were even calling for Delabar to be the closer this year because of the K numbers. Casey is our best reliever by a mile.

    I just can't respect someone who could write something THAT stupid on his eye black. I don't care if he saved a bunch of puppies from a burning building before each game. That is just inexcusable judgement from someone in the public eye. The guy is a mouth breather and I'm glad he's gone.
