It was a bad trade because Kent turned into a fantastic player but it's a huge stretch to say Cone didn't pitch well here. -

Just like they "definitely" would've signed a starter and a 2B in the offseason? Actually buying at the deadline seems kind of likely for this front office. Perfect time to buy.. when prices are at their highest. Why get a front of the rotation starter for 4 prospects when you can get him for 6?
