No. What I was trying to say was I think Inciarte, Swanson, and Blair are worth more than Pollock. It's weird how the DBacks rejected that trade suggestion and instead went with giving up Inciarte, Swanson, and Blair instead

Their valuations are all messed up. Maybe they view Shelby as a future ace or something? It's stupid enough that they wanted to deal the Swanson package over Pollock (rumours pointed to a straight swap of Miller and Pollock)

So basically the Braves managed to trade the last year of Heyward for one year of Miller, Inciarte, Swanson, and Blair. Solid.

The f*** is Arizona doing? I expect that, I don't think Miami moves him unless they rape the other team Atlanta wanted Pollock for Miller, and the DBacks instead traded what they traded now. No way the DBacks want to part with Pollock

A couple of weeks ago I threw a pair of jeans in the laundry, next day I see my jeans are frozen. My mom said she read this somewhere and decided to try it out. I thought she was crazy. No smell though so idk

I'm OK with Thole as our backup going into the season. Having an upgrade would obviously be better but I don't think it's a big deal if he ain't replaced. Personally I would like a knuckleball catcher as our backup, I didn't like Martin catching Dickey last season.

Salary payouts seems to get higher and higher every year by a lot. I wonder if it will ever just stall for a couple of years or if the bubble will burst. But I guess as long as TV attendance and ballpark attendance continues to climb we'll continue to see huge deals -

He has a point. And while I certainly understand I am in the minority here, what exactly has Shapiro done in the last ten years. Terrible attendance, and mostly bad teams. I know, the payroll, the payroll. And I certainly can't quantify why, but I think this is a terrible move that Rogers made in hiring him, and now his side kick. I certainly hope I AM WRONG. Sometimes there is just no logic to a feeling, but I have had a bad one since they announced his hiring. Anything is better than Beeston, especially a baseball mind. He seems well spoken and a person who is hands on with everything in the organization, wants to know what's going on at all times. I like this move

Yeah it would have been a low balled 5 year contract, then he would have held a presser saying he bid but the player chose to go elsewhere... Like every other time lol. I like that we respected Price and decided not to offer him anything when we knew we won't match his demands

All reports I see is that likely worst case scenario is he's going to miss out on the first 2 months of 2016... that's not much of a problem. Even if he comes back after the All-Star Break he'd still be worth it lol Hell I'd take him knowing he'd miss 2016 for $4M. I guess Miami is hard for cash or something right now
