    If that's the case, I don't understand why fans are upset with the mediocrity that followed 1993? The Jays had old teams back in 1992 & 1993. So wouldn't it make sense when those players retired or left the team things would be bad? You can't want World Series wins and then cry because all the vets left and the farm is bare......why the f*** is the team not still winning.

    I'm glad the Jays didn't make any trades this off season. The no decent free agent signings was surprising though.

    And when the Rays couldn't field a bunt properly and threw it away? That was f***ing awesome, because it was good for the Jays. And for the Rays? They lost that game like we lost last night. Sure, be passionate but have some f***ing perspective.

    I know comparing teams on paper over the course of a year doesn't matter because anything can happen. But, when comparing teams on paper, I wouldn't expect the team we currently field to be a playoff talked about team. I'm sorry, but this team as it's constructed is not one of the best teams in baseball. We're exceeding expectations and that's where I get "lucky" from.

    They are pretty good and could luck their way into the playoffs. But who wants a team that relies more on luck than talent? Not me.
