  4. Stroman, Sanchez, and Pillar signed as free agents, of course
  5. stop being a dick, i'm perfectly fine. just commenting on BA's outlook
  6. Sure I get that, but even then. Pillar still in CF 3 years from now. Just how bad will he be
  7. From BA (Has Pillar in CF at 33 yrs old and Grichuk at DH - ????) Toronto Blue Jays Farm System Overview For 2019 Notable Graduations: SS/2B Lourdes Gurriel Jr. (5), SS Richard Urena (9) and LHP Ryan Borucki (10). Trending: A parade of prospects lines up behind Vladimir Guerrero Jr. and Bo Bichette, making the future bright in Toronto. Strengths: Having the best prospect in baseball is always a great place to start for a farm system, but even beyond Vladimir Guerrero Jr., the Blue Jays have depth and potential impact all around the infield. Several hitters got significantly better in 2018, which has improved the system’s overall depth. After graduating lefty Ryan Borucki last season, the Blue Jays could get impact before long from talented arms like Sean Reid-Foley and Nate Pearson. Weaknesses: A few of the Blue Jays’ infield prospects may need to move to the outfield eventually because the system is significantly thinner among promising outfielders. Cavan Biggio and Kevin Smith both had breakout seasons, but they still need to prove their newfound success is a sign of a new level of skill and not just a pair of career years. Toronto Blue Jays Projected 2022 Lineup (Listed with 2022 season age) C Danny Jansen 27 1B Vladimir Guerrero Jr. 23 2B Lourdes Gurriel Jr. 28 3B Jordan Groshans 22 SS Bo Bichette 24 LF Teoscar Hernandez 29 CF Kevin Pillar 33 RF Cavan Biggio 27 DH Randal Grichuk 30 SP Marcus Stroman 31 SP Aaron Sanchez 29 SP Eric Pardinho 21 SP Nate Pearson 25 SP Ryan Borucki 28 CL Hector Perez 26
  8. Baseball America had a chat scheduled with JJ Cooper about Tampa Rays top 10 prospects at 2 pm today. It appears, not a single question was asked.
  9. Adell will be ready in 2020. I fully expect a massive trade of Trout to a contender at the 2019 break.
  10. So is he trying to use this to explain the loss of velocity?
  11. Playing 'gotcha!' and failing is the worst.
  12. If you can't understand a nuanced position, not my problem.
  13. No I didn't say anything about keeping him. Your reading comprehension is the worst.
  14. Can only suppose they are skeptical of getting a return exceeding the value to the Jays. Like, the 'stro's can just sign Ramos rather than give up assets to get an old catcher.
  15. Ridiculous train of discussion. Martin is not an untouchable lol
  16. What's your prediction on Merryweather?
  17. I'm not saying the inclusion on a top 30 is wrong, just that it's understandable given his age, the TJS, and his MiLB results to date, if he is not. You said he should be on every top 30 list.
  18. Realistically, projects as an AAAA reliever.
  19. We cannot use the Cleveland results to judge Shatkins? Also, to think that because AA once fleeced a dumb Angels GM he could do it again with Martin and Tulo is ludicrous.
  20. You are just cherry picking stuff, and not very well. Like any GM, AA made some moves that turned out well, and other moves that turned out terrible. Overall he was OK. A reasonable assessment says Shatkins has the better track record at building a sustainable winning team. Sorry.
  21. Osuna has lost some velocity? Certainly doesn't have the same zip.
