  1. I did. Mrs. Queen. Once a week getting pulled out of class.
  2. Yes, I have the problem too, pretty mild in my case.
  3. Some poser stirring up muck. No worries.
  4. This might precipitate a rash of SP signings
  5. Saying the heavy lifting is done means they are not done.
  6. Hernandez has a great arm. Biggio in RF over Hernandez is likely a downgrade.
  7. Yes, maybe. Every one of those lineup guys projects to be above average hitter, with the exception of Jansen who projects to be average (I expect more from him). With this lineup, as I mentioned a few weeks ago, an innings eater like Porcello could win 15 games.
  8. Grichuk is a 4th OF on a contending team, which is exactly what the Jays are. It's f***ing awesome how Shatkins have simultaneously built a contender and a top farm system.
  9. Updated lineup: Bichette SS Biggio 3B/2B/OF Springer CF Vlad Jr 1B/3B/DH Hernandez RF/DH Gurriel LF Tellez DH/1B Kirk/Jansen C Semien 2B/3B/SS Grichuk CF/DH Espinal MIF ?? Fapworthy
  10. 20.2% for his career and trending down. In all probability, a good deal south of 20% in 2021.
  11. Semien projected for 3+ WAR. Fantastic signing. Vlad will still get his 3B opportunities.
  12. I'd rather the 30 yr Semien than a 2 yr deal for Turner.
  13. I think at the end of the day, in this scenario all three of Jansen, Kirk, Tellez accrue around 500 PAs. There will be games with all three in the lineup, assuming Jays carry a 3rd catcher for part of the season. Of course, if Kirk is OPS'ing .900+ and Tellez barely .800, Jays will get Kirk in there more often.
  14. I am guilty but not for the reason you suggest. I wanted to take the Rays approach and trade him for a haul before he turned to s***.
  15. I would expect Tellez to be the primary DH in this scenario, with Jansen and Kirk sharing catching duties. To be frank, right now Jansen is the better option at catcher, even if Kirk has the better bat.
  16. I thought the issue was breaking balls falling through the front bottom of the textbook zone, being caught in the dirt, and robo-deemed a strike. Drove Brujan nuts at the AFL in 2019 Probably any pitch sneaking through the extreme edges is called a robo-strike, but not an ump-strike.
  17. If it's the Mets, Bauer will need TJS within a year. Baseball law.
  18. If Shoe is no longer angry, sure, good signing.
  19. IIRC, there were several times from 1993 to 2013 that the Jays were the 3rd best team in the AL and did not make the playoffs. The problem of being in the ALE powerhouse division.
  20. It's a threat to their livelihood, both pitchers and batters alike. If you are making millions of dollars a year, the status quo suits you just fine.
  21. Hate that everything has become transactional. So much for "the good of the game".
  22. No, there is a time and place. SWR is an untouchable for me, though. Very few, if any, red flags with him.
  23. We need you in a dynasty league.
