  1. It's in the eye of the beholder. There are some that find a pig sexy. A good looking friend of mine has a 300 lb pig living in the house with her, and posts pics all over FB with heart emojis.
  2. It was the middle of the day, Spanky.
  3. It is reasonable to expect Gurriel's power numbers to improve in 2022. Problem is he sucks defensively, making him a borderline OF asset.
  4. Or he thinks he can get 8/$220 or something
  5. Reasonable. The FO seems to be taking the approach that one of the 3C will be moved in the right deal, and if not, what you have posted is what will happen. Basically, waiting for some team to offer up an overpay.
  6. 18% K rate and .263 BABIP for Thomas. Projected for a 107 wRC+ in 2023 and he's 22. He'll be fine. Thomas and Pfaadt for Kirk is reasonable IMO.
  7. Can the draft room be set up so the pick numbers get assigned to each 2023 pick?
  8. He's not that expensive, I'll take a look at your team
  9. I've got a couple of pieces available for a pick or prospect upgrade Trey Mancini and Kenta Maeda Reports are that Maeda's recovery has gone very well Mancini with useful 1B/OF eligibility
  10. Agreed. As I mentioned the other day, Wacha for No. 5, Kikuchi in the bullpen as a swingman, and White in AAA gives the team some breathing room for injuries and suckage etc. Kikuchi and White sharing #5 starter duties is basically taking an L every 5 games.
  11. We really need you in the Jays FO, to give them your sage advice. Jonn for GM!
  12. Slim possibility. Moreno is likely similar to Keibert in his first full season.
  13. The team is far better constructed if one of the C is moved to strengthen the team elsewhere. There are plenty of potential trade partners. Marlins (for pitching) and D'Backs (for OF) in particular.
  14. Same, I was thinking a CF playing Altuve.
  15. Elon is proof one can be smart in one area, and utterly stupid in another.
  16. BA has Twinkies Top 10 out today. Austin Martin nowhere to be found. SWR is #10. Seems the teams that passed on Martin knew what they were doing.
  17. Likely, January is mostly IFA signings One item to watch is the Dodgers / Bauer situation. Apparently the Dodgers haven't been that active this offseason, not because of Ohtani, because they don't know if they are on the hook for $40M or not. With all the high end FA signed, if the arbitrator rules in MLB/Dodgers favour, we probably see the Dodgers making trades and taking on contracts.
  18. Power corrupts....
  19. Teo's improvements were pretty impressive. In 2022 I thought he was too often lackadaisical in the field. We all saw it. My comment doesn't apply to any other Jays players, of which there are several other latins.
  20. I have heard the suggestions of being a hard worker. The on field lapses in 2022 were more prevalent than previous years. My comment has nothing to do with race.
  21. Between the lines is what matters. I don't see any evidence the Jays players are not hard working and passionate about winning. Teo and Gurriel possible exceptions on the "hard working" part, but every team has a few players that work less hard than the others.
  22. lol Spanky
  23. How good is he at picks?
  24. As far as catchers go, no one seems interested in poor Gary Sanchez.
