  1. Evidence? Link?
  2. Spanky knows how it works, I nominate him to do the lottery and draft setup.
  3. O's making a move.
  4. Sure. Doesn't matter who, as long as its a back end starter that should be better than Kooch and White and relegates them to the bullpen/depth.
  5. Conforto for 1 year is probably going to be closer to $20M. Sure, Eovaldi would be a good get. Jays need one more back end starter, IMO.
  6. Yes, that is a good deal in this market. Kikuchi and White will still get plenty of starts.
  7. Projection systems take all this into account and project 1.5 WAR in 2023, over 28 starts. That's pretty good for a 5th starter. He did have some arm issues 2018-2020.
  8. He's not in the home market, but condo market as a vacation home. Plenty of 2 bedroom condos for $800K or less, even in Naples area
  9. That would be a great time for people with money on hand Friend of mine sold his Naples, Fl condo in April, a few months before the hurricane f***ed everything up. He's sitting on $800K US waiting for the market to bottom
  10. Yeah I negotiated a $25K reduction on the price of this house using the inspection findings - the main issue being the furnace. Got them to pay for new furnace and AC plus quite a bit left over
  11. 4) The Giants have internal disagreement. GM determined price too high but owner disagreed and agreement pending medicals reached. GM presented medicals to owner and recommended non-execution. According to the San Francisco Chronicle, someone above the GM led the negotiations to the agreement.
  12. lol, Boras is not one to leave money on the table, dude He would only move to the Mets after it was clear the Giants had backed out It's f***ing December Give your head a shake
  13. Maybe you haven't been paying attention to the s*** that goes on in this world, on a daily basis
  14. Once again, you are on the wrong side of history, connor
  15. Yep, medical reasons my ass
  16. There are all kinds of reports out there suggesting the Giants got cold feet, and used medical reports as a pretext to back out. Also, the San Francisco Chronicle has reported that ownership, not the FO, spearheaded the Correa negotiations. The Mets deal is conditional on medicals, let's see what happens.
  17. Isn't it a pic of Edwin Diaz in a Yanks uni?
  18. Ya, there is something fishy here for sure.
  19. Yes, I am suggesting the Giants got cold feet and used the health clause and whatever conditions Correa has to walk away from the deal. Yes, bad faith. And I wouldn't blame them one bit. As other's have pointed out on this board, it is likely that by the time the Giants are good and can compete with the Dodgers and Padres of this world, Correa is a good ways down the aging curve.
  20. Well if you get one of the OF as well. I'm firmly in the camp that Moreno or Kirk for Pfaadt and Thomas is a good deal for the Jays. Moreno probably not enough, but Kirk might be.
  21. Well that's what I mean. Of course Correa has various minor issues that allow for the exercise of "sole discretion".
  22. One has to wonder if the Giants simply used the health condition clause to walk away from a deal they decided was a bad idea. Were the Cubs / Braves / whoever really going to pay Correa something similar? Crazy.
  23. Pfaadt is considered Tiedemann's equal as a breakout pitching prospect. Getting him in a deal for one of the 3C would be a coup.
