  1. If they don't its: 30. Angels 29. Rockies Hard to believe there could be a stupider franchise than the Rockies out there.
  2. Me too. That right field porch.
  3. No doubt. The Cards made a mistake.
  4. Can't see the Jays giving up what Stroman will cost. There aren't many weaknesses on this team. Espinal is the biggest weakness. He's only on the team for SS. Brendan Rodgers is on a minor league rehab assignment, RHH league average bat with potential for a lot more, 2B/SS capable. Rox might be enticed to move on from him.
  5. Bellinger HR distances: Pull side - 410, 376, 411, 422, 384, 395, 392, 392, 414, 420 Oppo - 372, 371 Not wall scrapers. Like I said, he might be using a contact oriented approach, but when he gets a pitch he can hammer, he's turning on them. This would lower the average EV without impacting the HR totals too much. The sweet spot % is 2nd highest in his career.
  6. Cherry picking
  7. Yes, that's the data point that's most concerning. Anyway will see how the rest of the season plays out. The talent is there, whether he regains his lost form as he gets further from the injuries is the question. He wouldn't be the first to have a career resurgence.
  8. 'selective on the pitches he turns on' i.e., turning on pitches he can launch. Nothing to do with walk rate.
  9. The data suggests Bellinger has changed his approach. From a swing for the fences at all times to a more contact oriented approach, and being selective on the pitches he turns on. That would explain the lower K% for example. His max EV this year is the highest since 2020, its not a "lost power" thing. Also, the numbers took a dive in May and June when he had an injury.
  10. Need more time to work out how you are going to spin this, eh
  11. I've considered and I don't think the matter warrants an apology, you snowflake
  12. lol, you can't be serious
  13. Been like 3 years mate, acquiescence applies.
  14. Surely you remember all my posts disagreeing with your opinion that Bellinger was done
  15. It's fine, Sale is basically in death throes, like King Felix at the end
  16. Machado with another tater, 8 in his last 10 games.
  17. Surprised you could find that in Tbilisi
  18. Heck of a TV, porn would look and sound so good with that package
  19. Trying to find BTS' post on Bellinger's xwOBA. Seems he deleted it.
  20. Dude i was in the LOD finals last year
  21. Great to hear. Will see the defensive value of 2B like Hoerner and Gimenez go up a fair bit Must be tough to integrate big changes like that into the framework, everything recalibrated
  22. Rephrasing - in the case of a routine grounder to the SS, to 2nd for the force and then the 2B makes a difficult play to get the DP, only the SS gets rated? The relay to first is treated as any other relay, no rating?
