  1. The percentage of people born with sex chromosome abnormalities is not actually extremely small. It's something like 1 in 1000 births. That's not a small number of people.
  2. At that price probably recycled beer.
  3. Your first sentence suggests simplicity, but the reality is very complex.
  4. The marketing side of the Jays probably has demographic data and information on prevailing social attitudes to help make a business assessment. Regardless, it is probable Bass is at the top of the "most likely to be traded" heap.
  5. Well the standard is a business cost vs benefits assessment. If the combination of Bass' performance and his off field stuff is on balance negative to the Jays org, he will be cut. If not, he will be retained. I don't think anyone of you will argue against "the invisible hand" as the basis of deciding Bass' fate.
  6. Nah, a top 10 prospect with elite stuff finally healthy. He just needs a run of health and buildup to be an SP.
  7. I'm expecting the Jays to manage his innings and have Pearson start a few games later in the season, go 3 to 4 innings. Transition him to a full time starter by 2025.
  8. Where is Pearson in the RP depth chart now? 3rd and soon to be 2nd?
  9. Funny?? You have a weird sense of humour.
  10. Nice moment, Liam Hendriks into the game, top of 8th
  11. Hunter Brown or Bryon Buxton in true dynasty?
  12. Selling point for the casuals. We got 4 players for 1!
  13. Holy crap what a play by Michael Harris
  14. WHo would we want from the A's?
  15. So maybe it wasn't the barrio.
  16. Francisco Alvarez will be the NL ROY.
  17. Manoah should go to the nearest fat farm, not Buffalo. Buffalo would make things worse.
  18. probably directly related, whiffs come from challenging hitters, HRs come from challenging hitters. to some degree anyway
  19. Elon Musk can't even get Twitter to run properly.
  20. Each time out is more confidence and comfort. Future closer.
  21. i'd grab conforto, his numbers only going to improve as he moves further from the long layoff
  22. If they continue this run of success, I expect the O's to be active at the deadline. You don't need 5 starters in the postseason. Good chance the O's pick up the best starter available at the deadline, to supplement what they have. i.e., I don't agree with BTS' take on the O's offseason
