  1. I believe so too. I love the command he's shown and I'm glad to see Sanchez improving his.
  2. Fact is the starting rotation was in shambles last season/offseason, but too much was given up for Happ. I was against the Dickey trade, but they had decided to try and contend this season and were maxed out in payroll so they decided Dickey was their best choice out of the guys available. Most of the guys traded were acquired by this management team, so they must have a bit of a clue as to what they're doing...not much more than a bit though...lol. I really hated seeing D'Arnaud and Syndergaard go. Syndergaard and Sanchez would be absolutely great to have. I hope they sign Bickford under slot. He seems to have Syndergaard's potential with the good fastball command, but Syndergaard's 6'6", just a stud.
  3. Bring up Reyes and DL Cabrera, I'm sick of his non-offense.
  4. Alright, then let the Blue Jays know if you do so they can trade Bautista and Lawrie before they get shot!
  5. Would they be armed with machine guns to shoot any whiners?
  6. You may end up selling thousands of those if the team keeps playing well.
  7. Blame the Wild Cards for this, they're like Credit Cards...make you think you're richer than you really are!
  8. There's a dose of both with a sprinkling of retarded stats to lighten the mood.
  9. Long ways to go till then. One game at a time starting with tonight's game. If they get to the ASB 4-5 games over .500, that homestand will give them a chance to get closer to 10 games over. As I said though, long ways away, a lot of important games between now and then, 4-3 roadtrip would be just fine with me.
  10. Blue Jays have a 10-game homestand right after the ASB, 3 against the Rays, 3 against the Dodgers and 4 against the Astros.
  11. Nor have the Blue Jays played the Twins.
  12. It was a split, Blue Jays won the series at the RC though, maybe that's what you're thinking about.
  13. 1-3 in the GCL, what is he, 4 years away if all goes well?
  14. Haha. Gotta have some fun!
  15. What would the Nats be looking for? It seems they have everything, starting pitching, bullpen. Offense is underachieving, but Harper's coming back soon.
  16. Seems like a good match too. Cardinals could dangle one of those young starters in front of the Angels for Aybar.
  17. How about sending them the 8M the Marlins sent to the Blue Jays in the Bonifacio trade?
  18. I wouldn't rip AA for the deal that's for sure. I think it would make it easier if Rogers continues to pitch well, not dominating, but pitching well enough to say "hey, we have a #4-5 guy here". I don't know how much Kendrick is making for the next 2-3 seasons, but we also have to remember the salary situation. Maybe you trade Rasmus in the offseason to save some $ and go with a Gose/Pillar platoon in CF? Might be a possibility depending on what sort of payroll is approved for next year. If they continue to climb up the standings, ratings, attendance and interest will grow which will make it easier to increase payroll for next season.
  19. Alright, fair enough. I like the pitching depth these 2 guys will represent next year along with Hutchison. If they think Nolin will be another Molina, then I guess it could make more sense to me. I just think the team will get a boost with Reyes and Lawrie coming back that having Izturis/Kawasaki/DeRosa/Bonifacio at 2B isn't as bad with Reyes and Lawrie back. No doubt I like Kendrick though, it's more about the starting pitching with the Blue Jays going into next year and beyond.
  20. I agree with you. Focus on the division until it's not an option, wild card is plan b
  21. Jinx alert
  22. Deck never pitched as well as Nolin has.
