Well, there's a train of thought that making the trades they made last offseason should help with making Toronto a place where top FA's will want to play, let's put this to the test and sign a FA pitcher? I know it's a weak FA crop, but just sayin'. How about getting the Cuban FA pitcher who's said to be MLB ready and is 25 (?)?

Yup. I'd like to see Stroman and Nolin promoted to AAA for a good part of the 2nd half and hopefully Hutchison joins them in August. It sucks that Morrow, Romero and Happ's injuries/brokenheartedness have have f***ed up the rotation, but it is what it is, don't screw up the only good going on in the upper minors.

The Nolin fiasco probably scared them. Stroman's had like 9 starts all year. I wouldn't complain if they called him up, but I can live with not calling up guys from AA. I'd rather they promote him to Buffalo soon. We'll see what happens.

They should at least promote Stroman to AAA.

Gibbons is in a rut. He had a bad series in Boston with his bullpen management and if he's not doing what he does best, which is manage a bullpen, he's no better than Farrell. The thing about tonight though is that he had Perez warming up...anyway...

Morrow and Romero are the guys to be pissed at, IMO. These 2 guys' struggles/injuries are f***ing up this team. And since we're at it, why the f*** hasn't Lawrie played in like 4 days? I know he had a family wedding, but f*** that, he needed the playing time, what a joke!

Sign the Cuban guy, just make sure he doesn't write anything stupid on any visible body parts or uniform.

It seems to me this is what happened with Wang, it was just a matter of time. It's better to run while ahead baby! Remember in ST when people would say how great it was that Happ, who was pitching so well, was the odd man out? Anyway, such is life.

I still have no clue what happened to Gibbons in the Red Sox series and why he allowed Wang to give up 6 runs after giving up 7 in the 2nd inning in Boston.

You guys have probably been trolled. Why would they announce tonight who will start on Sunday? For all we know, they may need to use Redmond tomorrow and/or Thursday.

Only favorable matchup was yesterday's, but after going up by 4 in this game, it makes it tough to take. I would've taken out Wang before he got to Cabrera given that it was his 2nd s***** start in a row, but I guess Gibbons was hoping to save his bullpen.

It'll be a tough loss if it stays this way, JJ and Rogers will have to pitch their butts off in the next 2 games to have any chance of splitting this series.
