Could be. I just think it's a personality issue. I just don't think he's comfortable enough in front of the camera and mike to be sarcastic, at least not on purpose.

Gose reminds me of Colby f***ing Rasmus on interviews and he's actually got a southern accent to boot. He's just got a dull personality, that's the sense I get.

Ex-f***ing-actly. Unbelievable, some of us are working so hard at reversing all the jinxing that's going on, but it's ok, one day we'll get our due credit.

The fact that both Gose and Rasmus are LHB does pose an issue. I like Gose, but Pillar hit LHP pretty well in the minors. We'll see what happens.

I was concerned about his throwing 110 pitches @ Philly. In his next start, he struggled against the Angels, much like he did yesterday. I never understood why they'd even say he's got no limits, really don't get it. As I said before, I don't get why they'd baby Stroman who pitched close to 140 innings last year and just cut Hutchison loose. Anyway, who knows, it may just be his mechanics.

Could be. I think John_Havok mentioned it somewhere down thread. I love Hutchison, but he threw some cookies out there. Blaming Navarro is pretty dumb. Rays were complaining about the strike calls against them later on in the game. Also, Hutchison didn't even have a K tonight, that tells us something.

Navarro called too many stinkers and Hutchison obliged. I guess Navarro got his game-calling and pitch-framing going only after Hutchison was taken out...weird coincidence.

I may be wrong (again), but I think Hutchison has struggled at the RC...who knows.

Jays are not hitting right now. 11 runs total against the A's and missing meatballs against Bedard so far tonight.

Yeah, I saw that he left with the bases juiced in the 5th. They took him out due to pitch count. It'll be interesting to see if they recall him before the 20 days are up.

He's the 5th starter so 5-6 inning outings giving up 3 runs is about right.

Stroman so far: 4IP, 2H, 0ER, 1BB, 4K,6GO/1FO, 71 pitches.

You can see it in the way they're complaining about strike calls. Pedroia's been whining quite a bit lately 'cause he's not getting the normal Red Sox strike zone. Anyway, not gonna risk reverse-jinxing them.

Red Sox just be pissed they blew a 5-0 lead yesterday and lost in 15 innings. If I have to pick one of these 2 teams, of course I'll pick the Rays.
