    As much as I would love to see Goldy win, Harper and Turner are making it interesting, and they may be just as deserving right now. It should be an exciting race in the final 8 weeks or so.

    I could also move Kirby Yates, Andrew Chafin, Brandon Maurer, David Hernandez, Tommy Joseph, Mitch Moreland, Brent Suter, and breakout star Andrelton Simmons. Ideally, I move a couple of guys for a roster upgrade, but I'll listen to anything. Should probably mention that I'll be unavailable Saturday and Sunday, so any trades with me will need to be completed by Friday night.

    With the deadline only 6 days away, all of the above guys are still on the block. I could also move Brad Hand or Drew Pomeranz if I get a good enough offer. Not really looking for prospects for either of these two, unless they're top 25 types. Hand's numbers since June 14: 23 IP, 6 SV, 8 HLD, 28 K, 2 BB, 0 (ZERO!) ERA, 0.97 FIP, 1.90 xFIP. f***ing stud! And he's been great all season long. I'm not motivated to move him, but I know contenders are looking for this exact type of acquisition before the deadline, so if someone gives me what I want, he's yours. Pomeranz: 9.47 K/9, 3.36 BB/9, 3.36 ERA, 87 xFIP- in 120.2 IP this season. Healthy for almost the entire season - actually been healthy for the majority of the last two seasons. I'd be willing to package a couple/few players together for roster upgrades. I'm away all weekend, so things will have to wrap up by this Friday night if you're interested in any of my players. 4 days until my trade deadline.

    I stopped watching when it was 12-2, and I'm just going to keep it that way so the Jays come all the way back.

    Which one of you contenders wants to get a head start on the trade deadline and bolster your championship team? Brett Gardner: .262/.352/.457/19/69/49/15 Matt Bowman: 3.68 ERA/.294 OBPA/19 HLDs Francisco Liriano: Could be good in a relief role, and is SP-eligible. This could prove very valuable in the post-season.

    Jose Siri's 39-game hit streak is in jeopardy of coming to an end. He just walked, and is 0-3 on the night so far. The game is in the bottom of the 8th, with his team trailing 4-1. Edit: The streak is over, but it was fun while it lasted. He broke the previous MWL record of 35 games.
