The 1st place team has a shortstop with a 0.313 wOBA this year. 6th place has a 0.270. 5th had a 0.281 before trading for Turner. FTD should have traded for Turner.

He's probably a butcher, but if he can pop 20 homers and go like 240/300/400 he'll have some utility in our league.

CS rate has a lot more to do with the pitcher than the catcher. Trying to infer anything about Navarro's arm based on CS% in backup catcher innings wouldn't be wise. -

I don't think there's really a situation under which a $30M per year increase to a budget is best spent on long-term deal for a pitcher. -
Things should be better with Cobb and Smyly back next year. Those two with Odorizzi and Archer should be legit, and Moore, Karns, and Guerrieri can fight for the 5th spot.
