  1. Their current 25-man is at about 137M. There might be some wiggle room, especially if Revere isn't retained.
  2. Still some very interesting late-inning arms: Blanton, Kelley, Qualls would all be nice. Sipp too from the left side.
  3. Dammit. I wanted Lowe back.
  4. What the hell are the Braves doing? Zobrist makes about as much sense as Markakis.
  5. Are you expecting the dollar to make dramatic gains in 2016?
  6. Pompey/Pillar + Osuna + SRF?
  7. 3-year deal for Kuma. Probably 45M?
  8. Owned by a publicly traded company in a country who's dollar is worth 25% less than the American dollar.
  9. He's obviously talking about the QO not being in play if Bautista were traded mid-season if the rules stay the same.
  10. Payroll is up almost 100% from 2011 and still people whine. The lesson to Rogers here should be: why have a competitive payroll?
  11. Kuma to the Dodgers. So much better than giving Greinke 206M.
  12. It's just practical. He's the only one that can feasibly start in AAA.
  13. So I guess we're all aboard the Sipp and Qualls wagon then?
  14. Probably could have had him at like 4/18 or something a year. Oh well. I'm not going to start complaining about not committing to a reliever before you have to.
  15. $17M a year for Butler and Madson Looks like Cecil is in line for $30-35M next offseason.
  16. A's sign Madson 3/22
  17. Damn, not bad. I'm paying 60/month for the same package through telus, but it's a corporate plan through a job I left and I'll need to find a new carrier soon. I've heard bad things about Wind's coverage though.
  18. Is anyone offering reasonably priced unlimited data yet?
  19. You guys seriously freeze your jeans?
  20. Who?
  21. Why do I keep reading quotes like this everywhere? "The Dodgers made a curious choice in not spending more to land Greinke, FOX Sports’ Jon Paul Morosi opines. While Arizona surpassed all industry expectations for Greinke’s contract, the Dodgers have the financial might to never be outbid on any player they truly want, and the fact that they were willing to offer Greinke a five-year, $155MM deal indicates that there was legitimately interest on Los Angeles’ part. With Greinke gone, the Dodgers now have to spend either money or prospects to acquire another ace." Why do the Dodgers need a second ace behind Kershaw?
  22. I bet the Dodgers' addition is lower key like Maeda or Kuma.
  23. How many pitching contracts, not including Happ and Estrada, would people have been comfortable with under a 140M payroll? For me I think it's just Hill and Lackey. Really happy with Happ and Estrada right now.
  24. Not really. Everyone is pretty much there except Norris becoming a 2/3/4 and Boyd and Castro becoming a 4/5/6.
  25. Still a pretty impressive collection to have in one system at the same time. Could be a CY contender, a 1/2, a closer, a set-up man, a couple of mid-rotation starters, and a couple of back-end starers.
