Yeah, when I think back to how s***** the old forum was, DJ Blu Ray immediately comes to mind as the face of the idiocy. He was the worst poster there.
A clutch score measures a player's performance in high leverage situations vs. their own performance in context neutral situations. Jose Bautista has performed worse in the clutch. Not that this matters, other than to say that him being a clutch hitter is fallacious.
I just went to the old forum for the first time in a couple of years. They have 39 posts about Jay Bruce. A sample of their quality:
Our forum is coming up on 750 replies. Three years since we left, and they haven't come close to recovering.
"Mike, you can barely run. We tried trading you for a guy who actually has a knee, but it fell apart. We will certainly try to trade you again in the coming weeks. Sorry about the sprinkler."
lol, I'm sure Bautista thought his comments would be appreciated by the FO when he made them. If only they had told him in advance that calling ownership out to a national audience is not advisable.
How is the Bautista situation even remotely their doing? Their big-mouthed star player went off to the media, and a hack journalist made an irresponsible tweet.
