    So what is Pollock worth anyway? He'll be back next year at 29 years old, and projections will probably dip a bit from his current 106 wRC+. The elbow is also a major point of concern going forward. On the other hand, he had massive age-26 and 27 seasons. Tough player to put a value on. Is he following the Carlos Gomez career path?

    Didn't you read vanland's posts on the old forum? He ran a multi-year scheme including puppet accounts like DJ Blu Ray and the dogg to turn people off to the old forum so that he could present this forum as a solution and make fat stacks off the few hundred unique visitors he gets every day.

    We've seen that happen for a lot of elite framers. Most common explanation is that teams don't employ terrible framers anymore so the difference between best and worst is much, much smaller than it was 2-3 years ago. He's likely just as good, just not relative to the rest of the league.
