  1. You listed your wife at least twice.
  2. I thought that was our secret?
  3. Even by fast food standards that's gross
  4. That's pretty fast through the system. Mexican?
  5. When stars test positive for steroids and claim innocence they're treated like human scum. When scrappy old guys who shouldn't even be in the league test positive for steroids and claim innocence, it's a national tragedy. Both extremes are silly.
  6. We're supposed to take players who test positive for illegal substances at their word and assume a false positive test? The overwhelming likelihood is that Colabello either intentionally ingested synthetic testosterone, or was negligent about what he ingested. Neither makes him a bad person, but they make him unworthy of pity to a lot of people, and I think that's fair.
  7. Three people in s row responding to an obvious dogg account SMH.
  8. Calling his dog Clutch is the most egregious thing Colabello has done in the last few months.
  9. Looking over the draft board now, I'm surprised nobody took him before 216. Valid pick.
  10. I know he's been worse than expected, but you really shouldn't have drafted Shelby Miller.
  11. The irony of everyone pretending that this is a tragic career ender is that for this to be true, his career must have been close to over anyway. An 80-game suspension isn't ending the career of a player who actually belongs in the majors. The response from both him and the media has been absolutely pathetic and cringe-worthy.
  12. TCA has not inquired on Betances actually.
  13. He's probably been taking something for a long time now, and whatever he was using to mask didn't work this time for some reason.
  14. A couple of teams have asked on Betances. Anyone else want in before he gets moved?
  15. Yeah. This doesn't reflect poorly at all on Colabello as a person. He's 32 years old, and gave up getting an education as well as ~13 years of experience in the job market. Every week he was able to cling to an MLB job is about 20K in income, for a guy with very little in career earnings relatively speaking, and likely bleak job prospects after retiring from baseball. A lot of people passing judgment would have done everything they could to maximize the amount of time spent on an MLB roster.
  16. And a team built around old/expensive players. The good thing is that they didn't push this offseason, and chose instead to go with short-term contracts for Happ and Estrada.
  17. Tough to pull him out of the rotation right now. xFIP is right where you expect it to be, and he usually settles in nicely.
  18. Yeah. I mean, you (presumably) or I aren't going to test positive for synthetic testosterone. This is something you put into your body. When your livelihood depends on not taking illegal steroids, don't expect people to feel bad for you if you test positive for illegal steroids.
  19. Yeah, but it' Nolasco. The other shoe is going to drop.
  20. You don't accidentally take anabolic steroids. And he was a few weeks/months from being out of the league anyway, so this doesn't even matter. At least now he can blame this 'injustice' for washing out, instead of just washing out.
  21. Yeah, they're really milking this. It's embarrassing.
  22. I'm sure he was. But he was always a marginal player. Not many people would have expected him to last the season, even back March. The media needs to stop pretending that this matters to anyone but Colabello and his friends on the team.
