I appreciate the King troll. Diamondbacks need like 8 more years of bottom-5 finishes IMO. The run the Oilers are on is truly astounding.

Ugh, now all the leafs fans are going to claim they didn't want him anyway. Like they thought he was going to sign for 7m a year or something when they were penciling him into their lineup for the last three years.

Interesting. Not really surprising given what we've seen from him on the field, and that Billy Beane pretty much hated him.

ISO isn't a category. I think he can do similar things to pre-2016 Heyward and Yelich. It's not sexy, but it is useful, especially in a good park and lineup.

That's a workhorse SP9.

It feels like in the DDL Gibbers started his rebuild in round 2 of the draft, and Boxy by the end of May. Would love to see a workhorse SP2 hit the market here.

This league is annoying right now. I have no idea what to do. One of like 15 teams in the mix for a playoff spot, but Moustakas is done for the year and Cole has some weird tricep injury. On the other hand, it's been a worst-case season, and I'm still 5 games over 0.500. Buy? Sell? Status quo?

Well, sure. But that's not really relevant in this context.

Have they? Bautista, Martin and Tulo are at a combined 1.2 fWAR through 78 games. That's like 6 wins less than we would have expected.

It's really just a semantic argument with Stroman. While the xFIP is nice, he hasn't actually contributed real wins this year. The other three have combined for like 1 win.

That's kind of beside the point. Overall they've been incredibly disappointing, and its a testament to the quality of the team that they're in WC contention despite the fact that many of their stars have played like complete s***.

Of course not, but they are what they are: an above average team that's received absolutely nothing from the likes of Bautista, Stroman, Martin, and Tulowitzki.

Storen has been a f***ing disaster, and I can't wait until he's gone. Sometimes things just don't work out. Storen is one of those things.
