  1. I don't really see why it would be a prohibitive in-season move.
  2. That's the best thing about this. Unless he retires, that option will almost certainly be exercised, and he barely makes any money. No idea why Atlanta unloaded him for free when they did.
  3. You should auction Beltran now!
  4. RIP the Holland-Davis-Herrera triumvirate
  5. I'm very, very skeptical about his ability to be worth his salary going forward. 2 wins last year. 1.1 wins this year through ~55% of the schedule. I see a league-average player with huge injury concerns who is now 32 years old. Assuming he finishes at around 2 wins, I wouldn't give him 4/82 as a free agent in the offseason.
  6. Unless payroll is literally unlimited, what you've just posted is very stupid.
  7. It might not, but it should. Injury prone 2-3 win 32 year olds on $90M contracts are scary business.
  8. The only players you're allowed to roster are players that are on your team or have previously played for your team?
  9. It's going to happen, and it will be glorious.
  10. Hopefully He finishes with a 2-3 wins season so the team can shed that contract in the offseason.
  11. I didn't realize how bad Alford has been this year. No power and a 34% K-rate at 22 in A-ball. That's really, really gross.
  12. That's actually a bit interesting, but we probably don't match up well. He'll probably be moved for an elite reliever or something.
  13. That's probably like Pompey and Tellez. I really don't see this FO making a move like that.
  14. My point was that you're not above shilling bad Colorado relievers. I didn't think you had actually convinced someone to take him though.
  15. Was it last year that you tried giving Tommy Kahnle the old Dinger Tire pumping treatment?
  16. Especially pathetic considering Silvergun owns the guy actually collecting saves, so his assets aren't really being devalued.
  17. The Braves seem to put great value on pitching. I wonder if something around Sanchez and Freeman is workable.
  18. RotoWire News: Manager Walt Weiss said Sunday that McGee will be used primarily in the seventh and eighth inning for the time being, Patrick Saunders of the Denver Post reports. (7/3/2016)
  19. - Grilli-esque pen arm that can be had for almost nothing Is anyone selling a 1B that is controllable beyond this year and can replace Smoak in the lineup? I can't think of any.
  20. Great idea. What do you think about Javier Lopez?
  21. Yeah, he's one of them athletic toolsy types that scouts seem to love but never seem to work out. Fingers crossed.
