  1. Yeah. It's pretty much a certainty from his responses that Saudners has no idea about the controversy, and just thought "whatever, All Lives Matter is a nice message, I'm not going to pile on".
  2. What a hackey, irresponsible article. He was trying to give a generic, boring "yeah I loved the anthem, man" answer, and didn't even notice the alteration. I'm sure has no idea about the fake "All Lives Matter" controversy, because he doesn't live on the internet, so of course he went with the generic "yeah, good message" answer when asked directly about it. Poor guy is about to become a victim of outrage culture and sensationalist reporting I hope he refuses to apologize.
  3. Taking a chance on a guy like that at the cost of a reliever is absolutely worth it. I'm just happy that you probably got a couple games worse ROS. You're one of the teams in the mix for the last few playoff spots, so that could matter.
  4. Yay, Dinger is weaker this year.
  5. What you suggest makes perfect baseball sense. But, I watch baseball for fun. I watch more Jays games than any other team. I hate watching Dickey, and I hate watching Thole. I hope he finishes his career in San Diego and is never seen on my TV again.
  6. Aside from the virtue-signalling idiots calling him racist or acting like he should be tarred and feathered for changing the words to a song, most people are just embarrassed for him.
  7. My god, that's pretty much impossible.
  8. I wonder how they're going to arrange the infield. SS and 2B are obviously spoken for, and Valbuena has been on a tear and looks like a 2-3 win player. Reed down and Valbuena to 1st?
  9. Interesting. Didn't know that.
  10. I really disagree with Kershaw's omission from this list. It's only 2.5 years of team control and not everyone can afford him, but I think Washington easily moves a Giolito for him, for example, or the Red Sox a Benintendi.
  11. Picks are on the site. Spittin hasn't put them into a single list yet.
  12. Looks like the year that the stuff slips too far.
  13. Huston Street is a closer. You should trade for him.
  14. Sorry. My bad.
  15. There's no way 30+ year old Pillar is putting up +15 or +30 run defensive seasons.
  16. No reliever will make the top-50.
  17. Did Dinger just get a good closer for a swingman?
  18. August Fagerstrom has joined Jeff Sullivan aboard the Naquin train! rustydude 12:06 Is Tyler Naquin better than we thought? august fagerstrom 12:06 Starting to think that could be the case. Think I'll be writing about this soon, in fact. I was not at all a believer, but, boy. 12:07 He's pulling a Lindor, insofar as somehow showing power in the MLB that he never showed in the minors
  19. The All-Star break is the worst part of the season by far. I hate it.
  20. They don't seem to, probably because defense is the first thing to go. Pillar is 28 next year, which is an age where a lot of players' legs start to go. I doubt he has huge trade value, so you keep him and enjoy the CF defense until his legs wear down, then let him go.
  21. Ace rage quit the forum and all leagues back in February. Not sure why JG wouldn't be answering.
  22. Anybody have serious grievances with a July 18th draft start date?
  23. But anyway, my intention isn't really to pump his tires. I threw him out there because I got no bites on Brinson or Phillips, and while I know Anderson is polarizing, I also know that certain people will think he's an attractive asset.
