  1. No, that will come after he puts up 150 good MLB innings next year.
  2. He's actually been markedly better than Honeywell: K-BB% Glasnow = 28.7 Honeywell = 23.7 xFIP Glasnow = 2.29 Honeywell = 2.70 ERA Glasnow = 1.57 Honeywell = 3.54 Of course Honeywell is a year younger, which is big. The two of them, along with Buehler, look like the three best pitching prospects in the game right now.
  3. Glasnow has found control, for the time being at least. 30/3 K/BB over his last 3 starts. Fingers crossed that he doesn't implode again when recalled, but he's absolutely dummying AAA.
  4. So what's the Cruz trade?
  5. You guys doing Cecil through yahoo?
  6. Damn Soto, Happ, and Alvarez is a pretty big haul for Moncada. Jim is Jerry DiPoto on steroids.
  7. He's only 22, and it's just 31%. If he hovers even at 28-29 he'll be fine with that power/speed combo.
  8. wRC+ up to 111 now after struggling initially
  9. Hard to believe a playoff team wouldn't see that Marco is healthy and give up prospect worth having to get him for a playoff start. Colorado for example. I'd trust Estrada for a start in Dodger Stadium more than any of their guys except Gray.
  10. 112 wRC+ at A+ in his age-29 season. Not bad.
  11. A thread in which RJF posts stupid s***, people disagree with his stupid s***, and then rjf whines that the forum sucks? The only step remaining is for crr to ride in on his noble steed and defend the honour of his moron friend.
  12. I'm so happy that Trevor Cahill is awful again. I wasn't ready for a world in which he's an ace.
  13. Why was connor and his tire fire of a team looking to buy a 37-year old anyway?
  14. Not saying you're in a bad place. Just that I don't think any team is going to go on an extended run of complete dominance. You looked unbeatable, then you weren't. SG won't look that way forever either.
  15. Everything falls. You should know this better than anyone. You looked like an unstoppable juggernaut 2 years ago, and now you're a fringe playoff contender.
  16. I'll take my lumps. I'm coming for you eventually.
  17. I can't wait to take you out again in round 1.
  18. Man, JP Crawford 2-4 with another donger tonight. Before this, he was 275/383/575 with 10 homers and a 164 wRC+ in 196 PA since coming back from injury. He's an elite prospect again.
  19. Boxy just eviscerated his arch nemesis.
  20. I guess it depends on circumstances for me. In DDL I'd hold until I could see where he signs in the offseason. In BORED I'd probably cut him to maximize my playoff roster.
  21. Zimmerman is one, but Cargo is somehow 20% worse than Zim was at the nadir of his value. Even a bounce back at this point is probably to 100 wRC+ levels, which really only plays at Coors.
  22. It's very frustrating that him coming up through the system has earned him a roster spot for multiple years by default. He's an absolutely terrible MLB player, and doesn't even deserve a bench position on an MLB team.
  23. The MIF is a disaster. Tulowitzki is both injury-prone and bad, and Travis is injury-prone. If the team plans to win in 2018, and plans to roster both these guys, they basically need two other middle infielders that project at close to league average if played every day. Ryan Goins absolutely can not be one of those players. Someone like Eduardo Nunez needs to be brought in.
