Diaz is just a far better asset in every way: - Diaz will cost the minimum, while Goins was projected to cost about $1.8M - Diaz has an option year remaining, Goins didn't - Diaz will be entering his age-27 season, Goins his age-30 season - Diaz actually projects to be useful, Goins doesn't I mean, Diaz might actually suck, but right now he's clearly the better asset. Most importantly, WHY ARE YOU USING RWAR ON THESE FORUMS? YOU SHOULD BE BANNED FOR THIS.

    Diaz might not even be good, but he'll make the minimum for the next two years, was acquired for basically nothing, and has a good chance to be a pretty good utility player. Replacing Goins with him is fantastic.
