I don't really like that so many reports have the team wanting to trade him. He's unlikely to return much value, and at this point the team has three options on the table if they keep him:
- He could accept the QO, which would be great.
- He could reject the QO and return compensation. This is likely more valuable than his trade return at this point.
- The two sides could work out a deal outside the parameters of the QO, either a 1-year deal or even a multi-year deal that's much cheaper than he would have signed 5 months ago.
I don't really understand the hurry to move him in the next two weeks.
