This team hasn’t faced a good starter yet and have been utterly dominated by opposing pitching staffs. Now they have to face a top-5 pitcher in the AL.

IMO he’s been given a chance to play 3rd and opted to get fat instead of putting himself in the best position to handle 3B. If he gets moved to 1B it’s nobody’s fault but his own. -

I used to watch the other team's broadcast, but honestly Buck and Pat have grown on me. They're the crazy uncles you spend a few hours a week with from April to October. If you're terrible at your job into your 60s it becomes endearing.

Doug Fister’s 2-seam moved like that at 89 and it was tough to hit. At 99 it’s prerty much unhittable.

The more I've seen of Drury, the more I think we should leave him there. The defense looks above average, and if he's even an average hitter, that's a nice player. I don't understand the motivation to force a fat guy in at 3B while crossing your fingers that he's only, like, a -5 defender for a few years.

Sandoval played something like an average 3B until he was 27. He was shockingly mobile for a guy that big.

Young Miggy was in much, much better shape than Vlad. Or rather, he was significantly less fat. Vlad might well be a passable 3B, but there isn't a single player who looks like Vlad and plays a passable 3B.

I get the feeling that flow is to straight guys what lip injections and 'can I speak to your manager' haircuts are to straight women: we think it's a good look, but it isn't at all.
