Pressly just set a new MLB record with his 39th straight scoreless appearance.

Ryan Pressly has not allowed a run since August 10th of last year. A span of 38 appearances and 37 IP. He also hasn't walked anyone this season.

At this point your prolonged meltdown over what amounts to an inconsequential mistake is a lot more embarrassing than me forgetting to check the notes section for a comment.

This season has been disastrous almost to the point of hilarity. Our two best position players are Eric Sogard and Freddy Galvis, and literally every young hitter we thought had a chance to be a guy has fallen completely on their face: Drury - replacement level Tellez - replacement level Jansen - sub replacement level Hernandez - sub replacement level and demoted to AAA Gurriel - sub replacement level and demoted to AAA McKinney - sub replacement level Alford - getting dominated at AAA Those 7 guys have combined for - (negative!) 1.2 fWAR. They have a combined wRC+ of 61 over 686 PA. This team is absolutely awful.

I feel like it would be as simple as you saying "s***, I didn't see the note at the bottom the e-mail, can you guys unwind that one" and then it would be done. Seems like a mountain being made out of a molehill here.

He's really not the same pitcher. Velo down two ticks to 88, swinging strikes down under 8%, and xFIP sitting up close to 5. I mean, I was interested enough to want to roster him, but it was a gamble on his velo coming back, because 2019 Marco Gonzales is not a good pitcher.
