Bo and Robert are kind of the same hitter right now and they're the same age. Robert maybe more untapped potential? Bo has the positional edge and has been healthier. I dunno.

Wander is clearly above Robert for me. Three years younger, projects about the same, plays SS (and might be a multi-position IF next year and beyond), and doesn't have the unsightly K/BB.

On one hand the developing grumpy boomer in me considers this an obvious risk of sending players out with cue cards. On the other hand, Kevin Kiermaier is an objectionable douche. Not sure what side to take here.

They really should address their Eric Hosmer problem in the offseason. He's a sunk cost, and running him out there everyday to provide replacement level play at 1B isn't viable.

I said before the matchup that I thought it was a tossup. I think our current offenses are mostly a wash (though you're having the better week), and we're both rolling with like 1 ace, a couple decent mid-rotation guys and a bunch of gas cans.

My troupe of low-velo shitballers were supposed to limit walks and have ERA/OBPA cleaned up by DeGrom and Bauer. Things have not gone according to plan.

He doesn't even look like the same pitcher anymore even though the velo hasn't changed. The slider was an actual swing an miss pitch for him, and at one point he could locate the sinker down with his eyes closed. Now he doesn't have any pitch to generate swinging strikes, and he can't command the fastball for s***. Kind of a weird decline - usually the velo goes and everything falls apart.

Org, you've owned Keuchel in multiple leagues for years now. Any idea why he scrapped the slider? It was his best pitch when he was good.

I think it should be between Wheeler and Burnes. Depends on personal opinion on valuing things like Burnes' lucky HR/FB and Wheeler's edge of 40+ innings. Burnes has been better on a per inning basis, but those 40 innings are pretty important. I know FIP-based WAR does that math, but I'm not sure I'm giving Burnes full credit for the <5% HR/FB. Maybe slight edge to Wheeler for me?
