  1. Sometimes all it takes is a guy like Stroman or Hutch to get a chance and take the league by storm. Not that I'm expecting that, but we do have some younger options that could be a factor this season as well as a ton of rebound candidates.
  2. You mean the corpses of Lee and Oswalt?
  3. It's not a crystal ball, but over time those numbers tend to be fairly reasonable projections. Last season was a complete clusterf***. This team is better than that, just not a legitimate contender either.
  4. I wouldn't mess with Reyes at leadoff, he fits perfectly in that role. If anything Revere would be an ideal #9 hitter in our lineup.
  5. I am eagerly anticipating the Paul Maholm signing.
  6. AT least something to look forward to in January.
  7. I like Reyes/EE/Bautista better tbh, but it's close. That being said, the Rangers overall are a better team.
  8. A big bolster to the Rangers lineup.
  9. Neither do I. I would prefer him to be the 4th OF and get plenty of playing time giving rest to Melky and JB to keep them fresh, plus being a pinch runner and late inning defensive replacement. Let him get his feet wet so to speak and then have him transition into the OF next season when Melky walks. This of course hinges on extending Rasmus. If that can't be done then obviously he needs to be traded.
  10. Also I will reiterate this, if you have an issue just report the post with your reasoning included. We do look at them as an email is sent to us for each reporting. I will ask however, that you please try and only report actual offences and not report a poster just because you don't like them or whatever reason, that just creates clutter and slows us down in reacting to legitimate infractions.
  11. This whole issue over the past few days was stirred up by a poster, not moderator. That is always the case. We have no reason to bring up anything mod related and we never do. We have our own mod forum and we keep things private there. However, when called out or questioned publicly, we must address it. We're human too and while some feel its best to insult or belittle us, it's absolutely pathetic and shows little class. There are better ways to handle these things like PM. As I said before we don't get anything out of this except trying to make this a better place for everyone and we do it on our own time. We hope everyone will trust our judgement, but a small handful usually like to stir s*** up and rile up the whole forum without knowing any of the facts. Nothing we can do about that other than address the forum publicly when something needs to be said. That aside, let's just get back to baseball talk, nothing else needs to be said.
  12. Ok guys enough. Locking this thread for now. Will clean it up when I get a chance. Just put each other on ignore and end this s***.
  13. I hated that guy.
  14. I wouldn't imagine that is possible unless he made an error in assigning administrative powers.
  15. It is time a time sensitive move.
  16. If I ban you, then do I win?
  17. What you weren't invited?
  18. I did, never amounted to anything. That's when I gave up on that forum and made that thread.
  19. Where we're they when everyone was planning to leave? It was openly discussed on the forum and the thread never got deleted.
  20. I created an entire thread calling the mods a coward and nothing happened to me.
  21. Chuppy? How dare you!!!!!
  22. That doesn't mean they still won't spend.
  23. Understandable.
  24. No I am pretty sure I disabled that feature when I banned him, lol.
