    Yes. Sounds like it's a pulmonary vein isololation ablation procedure for atrial fibrillation. There are risks but recovery is quick. It's his second one by the sounds of it. First go round is generally only successful 60-70% of the time. A second procedure brings success rates up to 80% or so. Even if it fails again, medical therapy is usually pretty good at controlling it anyway.

    Big time People pay to watch the players play And they watch on TV They might drink beer but they couldn't give a crap about who is giving or to them. It could be from a vending machine and no one would care.

    Red Sox payroll would drop from 217M to about 15-20M. With further savings by not paying James anymore. Surely they could shave a couple bucks off. Or at least give out free peanuts or something.

    Exactly Machado and Harper are free agents at 26/27, unusually young for superstar players entering free agency so it's a rare opportunity for teams. You're buying what should be some of their absolute best years. Teams aren't scared of giving 10 years to them or via extensions to the Trouts and Stantons when those deals happened. They just don't give long term deals to guys 32/33+ anymore. Which is obviously smart.
