  1. For real
  2. $2 for a Quarter Pounder with cheese today JS
  3. Agreed Buyer beware Only 184 IP over the past two seasons combined I suppose the Yankees know they'll have rotation depth to compensate if he misses more time, and few starters are as impactful when they're at their best. And he's 26 years old with 3 more years of team control. So you consider all of that.
  4. Lineup 1. Gardner April, Didi SS when he's back from TJS 2. Machado 3B 3. Stanton OF/DH 4. Judge OF 5. Sanchez C 6. Torres 2B 7. ? 8. Voit 1B 9. Gardner/Hicks Starting rotation: 1. Severino 2. Syndergaard 3. Paxton 4. Tanaka 5. Gray or Sabbathia, the other is BP long man Bullpen: Probably best in the league again whether they re sign some of the FA guys or not Bench: Ellsbury, Wade, Bird, Frazier, backup catcher?
  5. It is interesting seeing the different values obtained for Yellich vs Stanton and now presumably Realmuto. Contract status and league supply/demand are such huge factors, providing very different value for these three very good players.
  6. The Yankees haven't had a decent 5 man rotation in quite some time The thought of them acquiring just that, and keeping their killer bullpen and keeping or even improving their good offense is terrifying
  7. Definitely
  8. I suppose it's also further confirmation that D'Arnaud suxxx I'm pretty sure I was just as upset over trading D'Arnaud as I was Syndergaard, given our catching situation at the time.
  9. Well Mets are maybe hoping that Buck Showalter's idea catches on
  10. Listening to MLB Network One of the ex GMs had an interesting comment. He had heard that of all the potential GMs the Mets interviewed, BVW was the only one who thought the Mets were potential contenders in 2019. This does not surprise me somehow Nor would it surprise me if his tenure at GM is short and disastrous
  11. Is it possible for the Orioles to lose more games in 2019 than they did this year??
  12. Billy Beane will beat them to it
  13. I want to see an outfield of LF Pillar CF Kiermeier RF Hamilton on some team No fly balls will ever hit the ground
  14. Cubs will tender Addison Russel a contract
  15. f*** Osuna for killing his trade value this year
  16. Don't forget 5) try to win with pitching with a s***** defensive catcher behind the plate.
  17. Supposedly Darvish Edit: and well everyone made a bid to Ohtani except for the Orioles
  18. Trout $33,250,000 in each of 2019 and 2020, the he's a free agent. He also has a full no trade clause, but may be fine with moving, who knows.
  19. I'd love to see Trout on a better team some day
  20. He just kept doing it all year start to finish. Amazing season.
  21. Reading through forst 1/3 of season posts
