    It's like being at an auction. The auctioneer tries to start the bidding at $100 but no one bites so he goes to $10. So many people start bidding at such a frenzy that before you know it someone has bid $105 when they could have had it for $100 at the start.

    Fore sure, I've been interested in both for the Jays. At yet at the same time the Yankees somewhat odd avoidance of Tanaka seems like a red flag to me. They've acquired Kluber and now Taillon and it seems like they never even engaged with Tanaka at all.

    Glad Kike Hernandez isn't a Jay. My biggest problem with Kike is trying not to say "do you love me" every time I would say it.

    I like Biggio's OBP but I don't think they gave Springer 150M to not hit leadoff like he did in Houston

    I've made a trade with the Cubs, signed Paxton and end up with this: 1 - CF - George Springer 2 - SS - Bo Bichette 3 - 3B - Kris Bryant 4 - LF - Lourdes Gurriel Jr 5 - 1B - Vladimir Guerrero Jr (hoping he's my #4 some year...) 6 - RF - Teoscar Hernandez 7 - 2B - Cavan Biggio 8 - DH - Alejandro Kirk/Rowdy Tellez 9 - CA - Danny Jansen I'd consider moving Jansen to 8 and hit Biggio 9th Bench: Grichuk, either Kirk or Tellez any given night, Espinal or Urena?, one more OF if the roster is 26 SP 1 - Ryu 2 - Kyle Hendricks 3 - Pearson 4 - James Paxton 5 - Robbie Ray BP: Chatwood, Stripling, Roark, Cole, Dolis, Romano, Yates and one more (whoever impresses in spring training)

    We kept Ray and he'll start We signed a swing type guy in Chatwood who will hopefully pitch mostly out of the bullpen We signed a 9th inning guy in Yates We need at least one more dependable starter for sure
